As I suspected, its absolutely gorgeous. I mostly loved the LC500 for its interior and the exterior was exotic looking, but not very pretty to me. I think this might be the only change it needed to become a sleek and understated (While also simultaneously tarted up) GT car.

I agree, improvement. The faux floating C-pillar needs to go away yesterday, already cliched.

Original version looks much better IMHO.

While I generally think some of the modern Lexus styling details are overly fussy, especially on their more regular cars, the LFA and LC are halo cars that are supposed to have weird techno design details.

The floating pillars give it some uniqueness and coloring them in makes it look more bland.

The Jaguar XJ floating pillars bother me much more.

It’s better when the chrome window trim is switched out for gloss black...

But the whole problem is the pillar is trying for a more integrated overall look but the black piece doesn’t line up with the damn trim around the side quarter window. My OCD hates that un-aligned bit.

Better when blacked out, but the misalignment is just unacceptable at that price range.
